Big room and GORGEOUS view of the beach. Clean private bathroom. Location just off a local temple and Sri Lanka a beautiful country and the river flows out to the ocean. Quick check-in, parking on-site.

We had a great time during our one-night stay at this place where the hotel was clean and our room was tidy and well-equipped.

I didn't like any thing in this hotel. I was surprised that this hotel has been given 4 star . It doesn't deserve even 2 star . The service facility was too bad. The staff were not friendly. The toilet of the room is old and smilly. You can not sleep at the room because of mosquitos every where. Further more, I didn't like their food compare it to other hotels in Sri Lanka . I was just waiting for the day of check out, it was one of the worst hotel during my stay in Sri Lanka. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

It was relaxing and its nice beach front hotel

The staff was not friendly at all and the room was not comfortable enough for the money paid.

We arrived early hours of the morning from the airport, so didn't want to travel too far. Budget style hotel which served its purpose for our first couple of nights. We were charged for the room from 4-00am, having been told that we couldn't check-in until 2pm. Met lots of travellers from the UK. Enjoyed the food in the poolside coffee shop.

Served it's purpose as were tired upon our arrival as we didn't want to drive to Bentota 4hrs.

As a tourist, I loved the amazing views and location of this hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the pool area was nice. The proximity to the sister hotel was a great bonus. The room was comfortable and quickly serviced by the staff. The spa was a relaxing experience and the balcony view was nice. The Sri Lankan food at the hotel was tasty and available at all meals. The trip to the elephant sanctuary and orphanage, although not arranged through the hotel, was great fun and highly recommended.

Tangerine Beach Hotel is a luxurious hotel next to the beach. It was very good that although the hotel was fully booked everybody got enough lounge chairs for sun bathing. The facilities are neat and clean and our junior suite was very comfortable and modern equipped. The staff was nice and accommodating.

Breakfast time until only 9:30 is too early. everybody rushed in at 9 o'clock because nobody seemed to be ready to get up earlier in their holidays. there weren't enough cups for everybody and the ailse where the food was offered was too narrow. The staff should speak better and entirely english to get the opportunity for a better communication. Transport services from the hotel are ridiculously high. Guests shouldn´t be ripped off during their stay (the hotel itself is expensive enough). SPA in this hotel is nice, but we don´t recommend a package, because the massage is not as long as the promised time and there seem to be no differences between the different types of massage (balinese, aromatherapy, oriental??). the flower bath is too cold (23 degree for 20 mins).

This is a fantastic, peaceful spot with amazing staff who offer top-notch service, making it a great place to use as a starting point to discover the area.

The rooms are large and most have sea views over the pool. The staff are helpful and they have a desire to improve ( questionnaire in room, request from manager about service ) When we stayed about 1/3 of the hotel was closed for renovation and the remaining seemed less than half full but it looked like there was still plenty of space in the gardens to find a sun bed. The manager was helpful in arranging a very late check out from one room ( at a cost ) as we departed to the airport at 11.30pm

The service in the coffee shop restaurant was very slow ( up to 1 hour for service in the evening ). We stayed in the "refurbished" rooms but the bathrooms were very small and a bit grubby. This is a very good 3 star hotel but not a 4 star any more as many areas are old. There is also nothing to do in this area with only 1 other reasonable hotel adjacent.

We recently stayed at a luxurious hotel for a short weekend getaway, and we were extremely impressed with our experience. The location was excellent, allowing us to relax and enjoy some quality time with our family. The hotel had a beautiful swimming pool and play area, as well as large gardens for the children to explore. The staff members were incredibly helpful and always served us with a smile, which was a rarity these days. The breakfast buffet was lovely, with so many delicious options to choose from. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a family-friendly getaway.
